Picnic – 2080
Yesterday, we went picnic. It was organized by MPA students and the Free Students Union. There were a total of 60 students and 6 teachers. Our picnic spot was Bhatte Danda, Lalitpur. Radar is also installed there to track aircraft and monitor the country’s airspace.
It was a cold morning. All of us gathered at college. At first, we clicked group photos and then started our bus journey (at 9 AM). On the way, our bus passed through narrow roads, dense forests, and beautiful villages. I tried to capture the moment as much as possible. We sang together to make our bus journey more fun.
After one and a half hours of bus journey, we reached our picnic spot. It was a sunny day. Our picnic spot was surrounded by alpine trees, green hills, White Mountains, and blue sky with scattered clouds. It was awesome. Of course, we used this beautiful scenery as a background for our photoshoot.
Different types of wild flowers including Anaphalis busua (Buki phool) were blooming. I spent most of my time collecting those flowers. I love to make herbarium.
We enjoyed our day by dancing, singing, playing games, and dohori, which was the major fun of the picnic. We also hiked to the nearer hills, dense forest, and view tower.
We were served four times with spicy dishes and hot drinks. It was tasty.
Overall, it was a fun day. It is one of the most precious days I have ever had.
